I have Google Alerts set up for the titles of my books, and the one that comes up most often is Alien Secrets. Can you guess what the topic is every time? What does Alien Secrets remind you of? UFOs! The latest article is not about the famous Roswell site, but about the Vatican!

Microsoft Start reported an article from the Daily Express entitled ‘UFO expert accuses the Pope of harbouring alien secrets in the Vatican.’
A UFO expert has levelled accusations at the Pope, alleging that he is concealing “extraordinary” alien secrets within the Vatican.
Steve Bassett, a UFO lobbyist in Washington, insists that it’s evident the Catholic Church is aware of the existence of alien life and has concealed evidence in their archives.
Steve Bassett is trying to get access to the Vatican Apostolic Archives where he wants to sift through thousands of years of documents. He believes that Italy discovered a UFO in 1932 and notified the President of the USA (Franklin D Roosevelt).
This makes a change from all the Roswell stuff and the conspiracies in the USA. This brings in the Catholic Church, for goodness sake. The article also contains a video from Vetted about Russian UFO samples lab tested and found to be of unknown substances, which were sent to the USA and stolen from a locked Post Office box.

The conspiracy theories are great fun on their own, without the question of whether there are actually UFOs. I’ve written about this before, but this accusation of the Vatican was too good to miss.
