My new science fiction novel is being published in the next two weeks. Planet Downfall is the fourth book in the Flight of the Kestrel series. This one is a novella, but packed full of action and adventure, just like the other ones.
Front Cover Reveal
So, this cover is something special, because I designed it myself. I’m no designer, but because it’s book 4, I imitated the previous covers and found 3 perfect images on Pixabay, a copyright free site. I then used Canva to put it all together, so I had 3 versions of the front cover. I sent them out to my mailing list and they voted which one was the best.
Paperback Cover Reveal
That was the front cover, but then I had to create a paperback cover as well. It can be tricky because the image has to be exactly the right size, including the spine, which depends on the number of pages. I hope I got it right, otherwise there will be a lot of fiddling about. I’ll know when I load it into Amazon KDP in a day or two. Wish me luck!
