Area 51 is in the news again, and this time it’s because of Google Earth. Zooming in on the Area 51 site on Google Earth has revealed a triangular tower, that wasn’t there before. So speculation is rife about what it’s for. This article on the Daily Mail website lists several suggestions from the internet, like an extra-terrestrial communications tower for ET to phone home!
Area 51 has been in question since it was set up in 1955 to test a spy plane, because of the secrecy. Many people believe it houses UFOs, alien technology or actual alien life, but the secrecy around it only fuels the speculation. Many people hope that the presidency of Donald Trump might reveal the details. President Trump seemingly has no limit to what he will involve himself in and if Area 51 catches his attention, he may well decide to reveal what really goes on there. Many people would be delighted.
I have written about Area 51 before. In July 2019 there was a social media campaign to storm Area 51, which ultimately failed, but made authorities nervous. Because those who gathered didn’t actually storm Area51, it turned into a festival. In September 2021 I wrote about UFOs True or False? And in August 2023 UFOs: Alien Secrets about the possibility that information on UFOs might be held in the Vatican.
